Brett Singleton

Brett Singleton, 27 of Whitney, passed away January 15, 2022 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. A visitation will be held from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Open Range Cowboy Church 582 FM 1713, in Whitney. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm. Brett was born October 30, 1994 in Hillsboro to Mindy Singleton. He grew up in Whitney and graduated from Whitney High School in 2013. After high school, he worked at Family Dollar, as a cashier, for 6 years. He then began working at End Zone Sports Grill as a bartender until 2021. Brett had recently started working at The Tipsy Lion Bar & Grill. He enjoyed shopping, working, and hanging out with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his Meemaw, Shirley Taylor. Brett is survived by his mother, Mindy Singleton of Burleson; sisters, Brooke Singleton of Ft. Worth and Brooke Knapp of Dallas; nephews, Kaysen Wagoner and Drayton Beasley; aunts, Michelle Powell and husband, Jacob of Whitney and Lisa Butler and husband, Doug of Whitney; uncle, Matthew Taylor and wife, Danielle of Whitney; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
