Steven Wayne Pittman, Sr.

October 28, 1957 - September 3, 2020

Steven Wayne Pittman, Sr.,62, passed away September 3, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Lucas & Blessings Funeral home, 518 SW Johnson Ave., in Burleson. All friends and family are welcome to come join the family for a small lunch at DeeAnna and Terry London's house after the ceremony. Steve was born October 28,1957 in Dallas to Will and Eunice (Clowers) Pittman. Steve grew up in Ft. Worth and graduated from Milton L Kirkpatrick High School in 1977. After high school he went into the workforce, working for several small companies and eventually ran his own cleaning company. He also had a lawn care company and did small engine repair. Steve was a member of Rendon Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outside tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. He loved to watch football. And he loved to listen and watch it rain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Eunice Pittman; sisters, Brenda Martinez and Charlene High; and brothers, Lynn Pittman and Melvin Pittman. Steve is survived by his fiancé, Melissa Yates of Grand Prairie, Tx; son, Steven Pittman Jr. of Azle; daughter, DeeAnna London and husband, Terry of Alvarado; son, Eric Pittman of Alvarado; bonus children, Johnny Yates and wife, Isabel, Kim Ransom and husband, Shawn, and Stephanie Johnson and husband, Jarrod; grandchildren, Dakota and Dayton London, Natalie Hesh, and Maggie Abraham; great-grandchildren Nicklous Anderson and Jayana Williams; sisters, Connie Simmons and husband, Bobby and Rosie Pittman; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; and 9 bonus grandchildren. He is also survived by his ex-wife of 31 years, LuAnn Boughton of Alvarado.
